I'm so excited to be co-hosting with Girl Creative the Creating Christmas {don't just pin it - create it} challenge this week! Fifteen blogs will be creating along so stop by each day to see what Christmas
projects we create and then join us at the end of the week for a Christmas only linky party :)
I have a ton of Christmas projects pinned (you can see my pinboard - feel free to follow - here) and I know I will never be able to create them all. For my first one I'll show you the original inspiration (or pinsteration if you will :) )

I'm a country girl and mason jars are in great supply at my house :) This idea along with a few others using these jars just make me happy. They make my husband thrilled because it means I'm using the ridiculous quantity of mason jars in our house for something :)!
So this is really simple you need:
Mason Jars (free for me - roughly $9 for 12 at the local stores)
Votive candles (4 for $1 at the Dollar Tree)
Epsom salt ($1 at the Dollar Tree)
I made six of these and used 1 1/4 of the salt containers, six candles and six jars :)
making them less than $2 each!
Here are mine lining the walkway of our home.
I can not wait until it snows - how cool will these look in the snow all lit up?!
Hope you'll come back all week long and see what other fabulous Christmas creations I have in store :)
Merry Christmas!!
Love,
Elizabeth

I love these! So pretty. They would be fun with dried orange slices glued to the outside or a wreath of some sort around them inside the house too.

ReplyDeleteFellow co-host, and totally smitten! I have more Mason Jars than I know what to do with. I should have named this week "A Merry Mason Christmas!" Can't wait to see what else you can come up with. :)
