Zoe Layout

August is here and with it the end of summer, end of an Idea Book and the beginning of something new :)

I created these layouts combining the two (end and beginning).  Using the brand new Zoe paper pack and accessories (LOVE THEM!) available this month and the Wanderful Picture My Life Cards retiring at the end of August.

What do I love best about these pages?  The photos of course!  My kids, my family, my love.  I started with a sketch from Scrapbook Generation and then tweaked it to create my own pages.  I really like doing that. Starting with a foundation and then getting creative.  Sometimes that creativity takes on such a new level that the original can hardly be found :)  That is ideal!

I am really loving (LOVING) the colors of this new paper pack!  So many options for uses.  I created these pages using beach themed photos but I have baby photos I plan to use with the left over pattern paper and journal cards.

If you are local to me I will be offering this as a class soon so be watching for the dates.  I had our local coffee shop contact me asking if I wanted to host a class there :)  YAY!  So if you love paper crafting and you love coffee we are going to combine the two and have a blast!

One last photo - the right page of the above layout incorporates one of my favorite must haves - Flip Flaps.  Here is a photo of the flip flap opened.

Have a blessed day and enjoy your August!!

Seaside Scrapbook Layout

Its been too long since I've last posted.  However, I have a good reason and here he is . . .

While this time around (number four) I'm lacking sleep much longer this surprise child has been such a blessing.  I used the Seaside Paper Pack and Picture My Life (think Project Life) cards to create this page.  I'm loving how easily (and quickly) my pages are coming together with these cards!  Instant titles and journal spots plus with a little creativity I'm able to create custom embellishments!  Love it!!

This compass was cut from a PML card, the "Happiness" was cut out of a zip strip and the journal card is from the Seaside PML card pack.

Even though I haven't been online as much I've still been creating.  I'm hoping to share some of my recent projects with you in the coming weeks.  Thanks for stopping by!  It's good to be back :)

Scrapbook Generation Blog Hop (Close To My Heart style)

So I have a confession to make.  I'm a clean and simple scrapbooker!  Yup that is me - always have been and I always will be.  That is what drew me to the Scrapbook Generation sketches and I fell in love.  When I'm not using my How To Guides or Workshops on the Go kits, SG is where I head for some simple yet stunning sketches.  That is why I am SOOO excited to be able to participate in a blog hop with other SG addicts like me :)

Without further ramblings welcome to the SG Blog Hop for December, if this is your first stop you might want to start at the  Scrapbook Generation blog and then hop along from there.  You should have arrived here from Lori's blog.

I like to get my layouts done ahead of the event and then just add my photos.  With flip flaps it makes it even easier!  So I used a sketch from the Christmas themed bundle and combined it with my left over paper from my Sparkle & Shine scrapbook workshop on the go kit.

Here is what I came up with . . .

I also added a few extras from the Sparkle & Shine Embellishments.  I love that the pattern paper comes with these zip strips like the one I added on top of the photos.  The star was stamped with the Workshop on the Go stamp set.

I can't wait to get my holiday photos into these layouts (I created a few more I'll be posting throughout the month as well as my December Daily and a few other holiday projects so come back and see more)!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

You can find the SG sketches in their books and as downloads in the SG store, and there is a free one every month in case you wanted to try it out.

Next on the hop is Mandi, leave a comment on each blog and one person will receive a free sketch bundle of their choice from the store!  The winner will be draw on December 9th, so you have one week to leave a comment.

In case you get lost at any point, here is the list all the blogs
Scrapbook Generation blog - http://scrapbookgeneration.blogspot.com/

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulously creative December and a wonderfully blessed Holiday with your family!  Happy Scrapping,
Elizabeth

Creatively Redeeming Treasures August (CTMH Babycakes) Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creatively Redeeming Treasure August Blog Hop featuring the brand new paper pack
Baby Cakes from the Autumn/Winter 2013 Close To My Heart Idea book.  We have a short hop for you this month everyone is busy wrapping up summer and preparing for back to school :)
I love this paper pack for so many reasons but the top one is because of it's versatile color scheme and patterns.  I created this winter layout using the gray pattern paper.  The snowflakes were cut with the Artbooking cartridge.  I cut one overlay and used the snowflakes for this layout - the overlay when on a different project.  Enjoy!

You are going to hop on over to Angelina's blog to see what she created with this gorgeous paper :)  Happy Hopping!

Here is our complete list of bloggers this month:
