May Creatively Redeeming Treasures Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our team blog hop.  We have a small group this month but I think you will be pleased with the projects and ideas that we have to share with you!  Our theme this month is school related - meaning teacher's end of school year thank you gifts, student gifts, gifts for your kids when school is out :)
I have found so many ideas I want to try with my kids for the end of the school year if the baby and my health will coorporate :)  I haven't had the best of weeks in that regard :(
Anyway, the gift I created is for my boy's teachers.  This is such a simple gift idea I'm almost embarrassed to post it but then I thought maybe someone needs a quick and simple gift to put together.  I got some great waterbottles on Amazon (I loved mine so I bought a few more for gifts) and personalized them using vinyl and my Arbooking Cricut cartridge.  I'll fill the bottles with a few summer and drink related items like sun glasses, sun tan lotion and drink mixes.

These seriously came together in less than 30 minutes so it is so totally doable :)
Next on our hop is my dear friend Helen.

Creatively Redeeming Treasures August (CTMH Babycakes) Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creatively Redeeming Treasure August Blog Hop featuring the brand new paper pack
Baby Cakes from the Autumn/Winter 2013 Close To My Heart Idea book.  We have a short hop for you this month everyone is busy wrapping up summer and preparing for back to school :)
I love this paper pack for so many reasons but the top one is because of it's versatile color scheme and patterns.  I created this winter layout using the gray pattern paper.  The snowflakes were cut with the Artbooking cartridge.  I cut one overlay and used the snowflakes for this layout - the overlay when on a different project.  Enjoy!

You are going to hop on over to Angelina's blog to see what she created with this gorgeous paper :)  Happy Hopping!

I decided to use one of my favorite stamp sets from the current Idea Book to create a set of thank you cards for this hop.  The Love Doily is so delicate and beautiful - the stamped image is just amazing!!

Here is a detailed photo of the doily up close - I just love it!!

Have you heard of I Feel The Love Project?  This super creative and very compassionate girl Madison started a monthly card giving charity where she chooses a different person in need of some encouragement and then puts out a call to action to her fellow crafters.

This month they are asking for cards for a sweet little four year old girl named Mariyah and her mother.  I'm sending these Thank You cards to her mother via Madison.  If you want to donate cards as well check out
I Feel the Love Project on Madison's blog or
join this event here on facebook for more details.

Here is a photo of each of my cards on their own

Materials used:
Love Doily
Inks (Sunset, Creme Brulee, Lagoon, and Black)
Paper Butterfly
Cardstock (Sunset, Creme Brulee, and Lagoon)
