Share A Smile (Day 13)

Welcome back!  Sorry I've been MIA lately - my camera battery died and then I lost my charger and long story short I had to borrow a camera just to get some photos for blogging :)  So anyway, today is Day 13 of our Share A Smile project.  As of yesterday we had collected 50 photos!   We are a long way off from my original goal but I'm so proud of everyone's efforts to collect as many smiley photos as we can.  We have two more days - let's give it our best shot :)

My kids and I went on a Smiley Hunt today and I can't wait to show you all the photos we collected :)
Have a great night!

Share A Smile (Day 10)

Welcome back to Share A Smile Project!  You will find all the information you need about our project here.
This is why we are doing this . . . for children like Marceline

I'm also sharing a project I've made recently.  Here are some cards that I'll be teaching in my April class - nothing bring a smile to my face like the thoughtfulness of a hand made card :)

Thank you for stopping by!  Your comments are appreciated - include a link of a spontaneous smiley you have found and photographed!  Won't you help spread the word on your blog and facebook pages?

Share A Smile (Day 8)

Can you believe we are on Day 8 already of the Share A Smile project?  If you are new here you will find all the information you need in the link above!  If you are coming from Scrapping Everday Miracles (SEM) I'm so glad to have you :)

As many of you know I was recently on Cooking With Cricut design team and loved every minute of it!  I learned so much from the very creative and talented gals over there and am thankful for my time there!  I chose to not continue with the team in the interest of trying something new :)

I am super excited to announce that I was selected to be a part of the SEM design team and can not wait to show you the scrapbook page I made for my first challenge with them.

So the challenge was to think of one word that would describe you and then scrap a page about it.  So I thought creative but I asked my sisters who said Honest (I think I may have heard a brutally honest in there but see that is more than one word so I couldn't use it - LOL).  Now that has got to bring a smile to your face :)  Here is my layout.

I am forever grateful for sisters who make me laugh and extend the grace of God to me when I speak the truth without love.  My prayer is that God will continue to mold me into the likeness of Christ and in doing so make me speak with more grace so that love shines through the truth :)

Materials Used:
Blackboard Alphabet pieces (from Pick Your Plum)

Thanks for stopping by!  I love your comments and am so looking forward to the next six months with you and the ladies at SEM!

Spontaneous Smiley
Operation Smile
ShareASmile Project and Giveaways

Thanks so much for helping us give smiles to children all over the world!  Children who are all alone in the world - those who have been cast out or lost family - those who travel TWELVE hours on foot for a life changing and hope giving surgery!  I am so thankful you are helping us in this cause because all are created by our God and oh how He loves them :)  I'm smiling at the thought!

Have you heard of Pick Your Plum?  They offer great deals each day on various crafting goodies - a crafter's dream place!  LOL  Anway, I saw a post-it note holder on there a few weeks back and thought for sure I could make my own with what I had on hand.  So I did and here it is . . .

The flower was cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge which you can get for FREE this month!  It is a great deal - I love my cartridge!!!

I'm going to offer this as one of my April classes so if you follow my facebook page you'll find the details there soon :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Again I am blessed by each of you!
Linking up with these great link parties!
