Welcome to the very first Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are so excited to share some of our favorite Close To My Heart products with you. If you are coming from
Stephanie's Blog you are in the right place :) This is a full circle so you can just keep going but if you want to start at the beginning or see the full list of blogs you can go to
Joyce's blog here.
I created a card for today's hop using the June Stamp of the Month.
I stamped, colored and cut out each of the flowers twice and layered them on top of each other. The leaves are petals from the large flower in the stamp set. I colored it green and cut out each petal creating the leaves. The stems are just green paper cut very thin (I think around 1/8 inch) and glued down.
For those of you unfamiliar with Close To My Heart's stamp of the month program you can get this stamp set only from June 1 through June 31 two ways:
Contact your CTMH consultant to get this set for $17.95
If I'm your consultant or you don't have one you can shop here
or
Place an order of $50 with your CTMH consultant
(or on my website here)
and get this stamp set for only $5
Now hop on over to my friend Betty's blog and see what product she used to create her beautiful project!
Thanks for stopping by - I read each and every comment :)

DeleteElizabeth, this is so lovely. I especially love the idea of using the petals as leaves. So creative. And the colors are gorgeous. I am so in love with this stamp set. (Don't believe me? Check my blog tomorrow when I have an insanely long post confessing my adoration). Your artwork is so wonderful. I will definitely be copying this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Meredith - glad you stopped by :) I really am loving this stamp set!
DeleteElizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI love your card - it is so pretty. You must have a lot of patience to cut all those flowers by hand. Every since CTMH introduced the Cricut cartridges I never even think to cut things by hand! Great job!
Betty
LOL Betty! While I love the CTMH cartridges I still like to cut some things by hand :) Thanks for stopping by!
