Cards and Bookmarks Blog. I met this talented woman through
Runway Inspired Challenge blog (love this blog) and was thrilled when she agreed to guest post for us . . . so without further ado here is Tasnim
Hello! I am very pleased to be guest posting today for Elizabeth! I decided to create a card using one of my favorite techniques; inking with a sponge applicator. I paired it with gold embossing to add a bit of glamour :)
Here is the card:
Ombre is another technique that I like, so I inked my panel to create that look.
Notice that the flowers and leaves are in reverse Ombre to that of the panel.
Watch the video to see how I made it:
Supplies:
- Stamp: Hero Arts Flower Swirl Vine, All Occasion Mesages.
- Ink: Stampin'UP! Rose Red, Versafine Onyx Black.
- Paper: Neenah Solar White, Recollection 100lb Black card stock.
- Other: Inkadinkado Glam Gold Embossing Powder
Thank you Tasnim for sharing your talents with us! I've been looking for an idea to use my
Hello Tweety stamp set and I think this would work perfectly with the swirls and the butterfly :) Hope you all have a creative weekend :)
