One fine day Valerie Ward contacted me about helping her put together a blog hop
with our crafting friends on Linked In. I loved the idea!!
So we are excited to bring you crafters from around the world on our very first (of many) blog hop.

So we are excited to bring you crafters from around the world on our very first (of many) blog hop.
First a little details :) If you have never done a blog hop before you will "hop" from one blog to the next viewing various projects created around a theme. Our theme for April is "April Showers". Each month the hop will have a different theme and will start on the 15th of the month and end on the last day of the month. On the first of the next month we will announce our hop winner.
To kick off our event we have a prize package for you valued at over $150!
I created a tea themed bridal shower package for this hop. This theme "Love is brewing" would also work perfectly for a baby shower "A Baby is brewing". I just love tea parties :)
First I created this Tea Party Invitation - the center paper slides off to reveal the information for the party - time, place and a space for all the details about the bride to be and her party.
I wasn't thrilled with the Love Is Brewing stamped so I think for the rest of these I'll just print it out on the computer.
Next I made a little shower favor paper purse with a mini thank you card - this would be perfect for putting a tea bag and some candies in as a favor and thank you for coming gift.
For the purse you need:
Cardstock cut at 5.25 x 3.25 and score each side at 0.75
score each little square on the ends of the cardstock diagonally in the center -
fold in and create your box base
Your Pattern Paper should be cut at 4 x 12
put adhesive along one side of the 12" and one 4" and
wrap it around your box base attaching at the back.
Decorate as desired. I used the brand new CTMH Dream Pop paper - coming May 1st to create this purse - I just love the colors! In addition I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut the scallop at 2 inches and then trimmed 0.25 off the bottom to use for the handle.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to enter for our prize package (valued at over $150) which includes the Artiste Cartridge from Close To My heart!
After you enter Hop on over to Valerie's blog and see what she created for this hop :)
