More Sunflower cards . . .

Here are the other two cards we will be making in class tonight using the May Stamp of the Month.

For the second card I wanted to make a bouquet of flowers but the one sunflower stamp faces the left, I wanted a flower also facing the right.  So I inked up the stamp and stamped the image on the plastic insert that comes with the stamps directly on the outline of the image.

I placed the plastic insert very carefully onto cardstock (so that it would not smear) and pressed down firmly.  This left a mirror image of the stamp that I outlined with my markers and then colored in.

To make my own patterned paper I stamped the sentiments that come in the Friendship Bouquet Stamp Set and used my Versamat to line everything up so that is looked the way I wanted it to look.

And the final card . . .

Sunflower Card

My class this Friday will feature three cards made with the May Stamp of the Month as well as two cards made with the Stella Workshop on the go.  Here is one of the cards we will be making

I used my CTMH water color pencils (sunflower) and then used the blending pen to fill in the sunflower.
These are two of my very favorite tools to use for coloring stamped images :)

After coloring the image I cut it out and popped it up on the card with 3D foam tape.

Materials used:
Watercolor Pencils
Blending Pen
Chocolate Ink
Say It In Style
Friendship Bouquet
Chocolate ribbon

Thanks for stopping by :)  Linking with these parties and blogs
