Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - November Illuminate

Welcome to the November Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  I am so in love with this stamp set it is my favorite by far in this Idea Book :)
If you are coming from Alyson's blog you are in the right place!

This month's stamp set is Illuminate a fabulous collection of lanterns!  You can purchase this set from your CTMH consultant or off my website from November 1st through November 30th  for $17.95 or you can place an order of $50 with your CTMH consultant or on my website and get this set for $5!
I created this Triple layer card with this stamp set

I took one of our super durable page protectors and cut it down to 3 x 4.  On the top layer I put the red bow from the Yultide stamp set.  I also used the new Sparkle & Shine Holiday paper pack (which I love btw LOVE LOVE LOVE)

Sorry about the horrible chipped nails - gosh you would think I could at least clean them up once in a while.  I'm the kind of girl who paints her nails once a month and when all the polish is chipped clean off I paint them again.  Anyway, The next layer I used the Stayz On ink to stamp the "snowflakes" and added some mini gems.

The final layer is the cardstock base where I stamped the lantern and final sentiment.

Wishing you a holiday that sparkles & shines!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Now it is time to hop on over to the talented Gina's blog and see what she created with this stamp set!

Creepy Cricut Creations Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creepy Cricut Creations Blog Hop!  If you are here from Carol's blog then you are in the right place :)  If not, you may want to start at the very beginning (it's a very good place to start - now you have the song in your head like I do - lol) at Crazy About Cricut.

We are celebrating our Cricut machines and Halloween in this amazing hop!
Today I've created for you a Halloween treat perfect for an adult or girly girl (like my 3 going on 16 year old).  A home made Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub and uber cute pumpkin tag.

Using my Art Philosophy Cartridge I cut out the tags at 3 inches.  Then I cut out three orange ovals at 1 inch and inked the edges.  I cut a small piece of bronze shimmer trim to create the pumpkin stem.  Then I overlapped the ovals to create the pumpkin - so easy my 6 year old was helping me put these together.  Finally I added a stamped leaf and tied the finished tag onto the scrub.

Recipe for the Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub:
(Adapted from this recipe here)
2 cups Brown Sugar
1 cup White Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon of Grapeseed oil (I found that this oil has the least amount of smell making it perfect for these yummy sugar scrubs)

Mix all ingredients together and put into an sealed and sanitized container - these will keep for months if stored out of direct sunlight.  I was able to make six 4oz jars with this recipe.

Thanks for hopping along with us.  Your next stop is Amanda's blog.

Creatively Redeeming Treasures - Holiday Gift Guide Hop

Welcome to the Creatively Redeeming Treasures Team Hop :)  This month our theme is the
Holiday Gift Guide.  I love all the product from this guide - so many items you can use both for the up and coming holidays but also a lot you can use for just everyday creating!  This month and through the end of December when you purchase $100 worth of current Close To My Heart Product you can get a "star" item from the Holiday Guide for FREE!

Here is what I created with the Sparkle & Shine paper pack, Sparkle & Shine washi tape (I'm in LOVE), and a great deal I found on Pick Your Plumb.

Our hop this month is a little smaller but I know you will enjoy the projects created by each member :)  What do you think of the Holiday Gift Guide?  Thanks for hopping!  Your next stop is the talented
Helen over at Creating Joyfully.  The full hop order is listed below.
