Close To My Heart September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  I'm glad you are here!  If you are here from Kathleen's blog you are in the right place.
This month's stamp set is called Poster Tidings:
You can get this set for full retail price from September 1 through September 30 for $17.95
You can place an order with your consultant or on my website here of $50 and get this stamp set for only $5 (plus have the option to purchase our National Stamping Month Special stamp set

I have to admit I struggle a bit with this one but when the idea finally hit on what to make with this stamp set I fell in love!  Then I thought you can cut apart the words, use the chalkboard effect, create a bookmark, etc.

Here is what I came up with:

Materials Used:
ProPlayer Paper Pack
Base & Bling Floral Accents
Colonial White Cardstock
Ponderosa Pine Ink
Slate Ink
Framework Alphabet Stamp Set

Close To My Heart Stickease and Compliments

While I do love the look of stamping on my scrapbook layouts I don't always want to pull out my stamps nor do I have the time to invest in a stamped layout.  That is where the Close To My Heart Canvas shapes, Stickease and complements come in to play!  I love how quick and easy it is to use just paper and a few stickers to create beautiful layouts that focus on the photos and the story!  You can see how I did that with the
Baby Cakes paper pack in my personally designed scrapbook kit here.

Here are a few other layouts Jeanette shared on her blog using each paper pack and it's coordinating stickers and complements.  (Select the paper pack name to see all the coordinating product available)

Laughing Lola:

ProPlayer (great boy scrapbook supplies which are for some reason so hard to find):

Baby Cakes:

Which is your favorite?  Add a few flip flaps and you've created some great pages to showcase your memories and share your story!  Happy Crafting :)

Creatively Redeeming Treasures August (CTMH Babycakes) Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creatively Redeeming Treasure August Blog Hop featuring the brand new paper pack
Baby Cakes from the Autumn/Winter 2013 Close To My Heart Idea book.  We have a short hop for you this month everyone is busy wrapping up summer and preparing for back to school :)
I love this paper pack for so many reasons but the top one is because of it's versatile color scheme and patterns.  I created this winter layout using the gray pattern paper.  The snowflakes were cut with the Artbooking cartridge.  I cut one overlay and used the snowflakes for this layout - the overlay when on a different project.  Enjoy!

You are going to hop on over to Angelina's blog to see what she created with this gorgeous paper :)  Happy Hopping!
