Crazy About Cricut Bday Blogaversary Bash Hop

Welcome to the Crazy About Cricut Blog Hop!  I'm so excited for my friend Jenny and her FIVE year anniversary blogging about things she loves like paper crafting and the Cricut!  I'm a huge fan of hers and am also a tiny bit obsessed with my Cricut machine so I am thrilled to be on this hop celebrating her and her fabulous blog!  In addition we are celebrating her 37th birthday!  Happy Birthday Jenny!!

If you have arrived from Jessica's blog Craftin And Stampin you are in the right place! If not you can start at the very beginning on Jenny's blog Crazy About Cricut!

Today I've created a Robot themed birthday package including a favor (or birthday gift bag), favor bag topper (can be used as food tags on a food table as well), and a birthday card.  The list of supplies used is at the bottom of the post.

First up is the gift bag/favor bag.  I used my CTMH Artiste cartridge (love the CTMH cartridges!
Click here to find out how you can get yours FREE this month) to cut the bag out of this super cute chevron paper.  Then I added a birthday tag and a colored Robot from the
Robot Family stamp set.

The food tags/favor bag tags were very simple.  Just a 4X4 square of pattern paper from the Skylark paper pack folded in half.  I added a piece of white cardstock for the words and then a colored robot kit from the same stamp set.

Finally the card.  I used a tutorial I found online for a super cute triple slider card that I thought I'd try.

Supplies used:
Skylark Paper Pack
White Cardstock
Pear Cardstock
Topiary Chevron Ribbon
Robot Family Stamp Set
Copic Markers
Black Pigment Ink
Fundamentals Cardstock (for the bag)
Artiste Cricut Cartridge

Creepy Cricut Creations Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creepy Cricut Creations Blog Hop!  If you are here from Carol's blog then you are in the right place :)  If not, you may want to start at the very beginning (it's a very good place to start - now you have the song in your head like I do - lol) at Crazy About Cricut.

We are celebrating our Cricut machines and Halloween in this amazing hop!
Today I've created for you a Halloween treat perfect for an adult or girly girl (like my 3 going on 16 year old).  A home made Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub and uber cute pumpkin tag.

Using my Art Philosophy Cartridge I cut out the tags at 3 inches.  Then I cut out three orange ovals at 1 inch and inked the edges.  I cut a small piece of bronze shimmer trim to create the pumpkin stem.  Then I overlapped the ovals to create the pumpkin - so easy my 6 year old was helping me put these together.  Finally I added a stamped leaf and tied the finished tag onto the scrub.

Recipe for the Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub:
(Adapted from this recipe here)
2 cups Brown Sugar
1 cup White Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon of Grapeseed oil (I found that this oil has the least amount of smell making it perfect for these yummy sugar scrubs)

Mix all ingredients together and put into an sealed and sanitized container - these will keep for months if stored out of direct sunlight.  I was able to make six 4oz jars with this recipe.

Thanks for hopping along with us.  Your next stop is Amanda's blog.
The full list (and prizes are listed below).
