Another Challenge

Just Us Girls challenge blog is a sketch challenge this week.  I really like simple scrapbooking and think a lot of cards sketches make great scrapbook pages.  This one would have as well but I made a card this time instead because I needed to send a thank you card.

My card

So again I made the green background paper using CTMH's cardstock.  I'm also going to show you some photos of reasons why I LOVE LOVE LOVE Close To My Heart's stamps.  I've said before that they are acrylic and clear.  It makes is so easy to use them for different techniques.
What they look like when they come packaged.  This is a sheet of 15 Card Sentiment stamps.

You peal off the stamp you want to use.

This is what the stamp looks like straight.

Ok are you ready for this?  Are you?  Another reason I LOVE these stamps!  You can bend and form them to make almost any shape!  Looks awesome when you stamp words in a circle!  So I bent "Sincere Thanks" to make it curve at the ends.

Stamping the card.  Notice how you can see right through the block and the stamp so you can position the stamp exactly where you want it and give it a second or even third coat of ink to make it really stand out on your project.

And of course stars need sparkle!  So I added some sparkle to this card using the Glitter Gel.  I have some stamps that are flourishes but not one that was small enough to use around this star so I free handed some flourish designs with the glitter gel.
One last picture of the finished product.
