Crafty Chicks Give Thanks Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Chicks Give Thanks Blog Hop!  Last month we featured Halloween and we had quite a few of you share your projects with us on our facebook event :)  That was so much fun, and you are all so talented, we are going to do it again this time around so be sure to visit our facebook event and upload your own Fall/Thanksgiving themed project this week.  We can not wait to see what you have created!

This is the first stop on your hop and the complete list is at the end of the post.  I created a tag banner for Thanksgiving and put it up on one of our old windows.  In our last home we replaced the windows of the over 200 year old stone house right before my husband lost  his job and we had to sell it.  I kept quite a few of them because I'm a crafter you know.  This is the first time I'm using any of them.  We moved almost six years ago.  Whatever, at least it is getting used and I have a whole pinterest board dedicated to old windows so I'm sure I'll use the others - lol

Anyway here is my tag banner

I used my Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out the tags on my Cricut, used my alphabet stamps and odds and ends.  A complete recipe of items used is at the end (including some deeply discounted products - everyone loves a bargain)!

These library tags are from the Memo Assortment (only 85 cents for a pack!)

  9. Oh my goodness, what a phenomenal way to utilize one of your antique windows! 6 years was worth the wait lol! This banner is absolutely gorgeous--brimming with beautiful texture and a warm, festive feel. I just love it! And I love your blog--I'm new here but I believe it's safe to say that I will fast become a regular visitor. Your about page is what first grasped my attention. I am always so happy to find a fellow sister in Christ as well as in crafting, so this seems a beautiful match to me! :) Thank you for sharing your love for Jesus and the talents He has blessed you with to spread love and joy to the world through your blog. It's a beautiful thing and I'm thankful to have crossed paths with you! I can't imagine a more wonderful way to begin this blog hop! Have a fantastic day!

  12. Wow this is such a great idea. I love the idea of using your old window. And I love each element used on your banner. We crafters tend to keep a lot of things. My husband is always shaking his head at the things I say I'm keeping. lol Great project.
