SEM Birthday Bash Card Challenge #3

We are celebrating Scrapping Everyday Miracles birthday with a blog hop (you can start

here), games and challenges on the facebook chit chat group.  My challenge was to create a

veteran's day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc. card.

Birthdays are all about giving so we are asking you to join us by creating a card for an American Solder. We are asking you to complete each (or any) of the 5 card challenges, take a picture and then post the card or cards on the SEM Challenge Post or in the FB group under the challenge album. Then simply mail your cards to
Cara Goedeking (comment here that you are participating and I will e-mail you the address to send your cards)

and she will take all the cards created this month and send them to Cards for Soldiers. You

have until JULY 31ST to create cards.

Here is my card and some detailed photos for this challenge . . .

I used the following Materials:
Love Doily stamp set (one of my favorites)
Courage stamp set (this one and the other two military stamps are only available until July 31st)
Baker's Twine
Ink (white daisy, black)
Cardstock (lagoon, white)

(These cards should not be sent blank, please write a thank you note to the soldier inside each card)

Here are some guidelines from Cards for Soldiers that we must follow
Cards need to be 5.5" x 4.25"
No Glitter
Please include an envelope for the card
Cards must be blank on the inside
You can sign the back of your card with your name
Dark Cards must have a white area inside so the soldier has a place to write
Check out http://cardsforsoldiers.blogspot.no/ for further details

For every card you create by July 31st and post a picture of here in the Chit Chat group or link to the SEM Card Challenge post you will be entered to win a $25 Gift Certificate from
Scraptown Lady
and the book Scrap Booking Your Faith by
Courtney Walsh.

  1. I have mine made:). Now, to clarify, do we write a note in all 5 cards or just the military appreciation?
