Little Prince Blog Hop

Welcome to the Little Prince Blog Hop :)  Super excited Jessica asked me to join in with this hop :)   I have been so inspired by many of these crafting friends and am super excited to be a part of this hop celebrating Little Men and one Little Man in particular.  Happy Birthday Mason!  I have two little men in my family and they keep life interesting for sure!  If you are here from Karen's Blog you are in the right place :)

I find a lot of BOY inspiration on my favorite boy blog All For The Boys!  Never heard of it?  Check it out!!  I created two projects to share with you today.  The first is these personalized notepads.

I love stamps for this reason!  My daughter especially has a name that is hard to find personalized items for and my kids all love to see their name on everything (books, walls, etc.).  These little pads are going in their Easter baskets and were super easy to make.

I cut a 12x12 sheet of cardstock into six pieces (4x6), used Washi tape (love this stuff!) and alphabet stamps to decorate each piece.  Then I used the Washi to adhere them together at the top making little flip pads.

The second project I found on pinterest - love that place - and created these Monster Bookmarks also going went in the boys baskets.

You'll find the template and tutorial here.

I used some Later Sk8r paper from Close To My Heart, scraps of white cardstock and googly eyes.  A few photos for you :)

We are currently reading through Judy Blume's Fudge books and the boys are loving them :)  I love how these bookmarks look like they are eating the page - I think my boys will like that too!

I have a prize for you and your little men!

Thanks for stopping by :)  Now you'll hop on over to Liz's blog to see what manly project she created!

Here is the Entire Line up for Today, April 2nd

Remember, Prizes are at each stop and they are ALL FABULOUS! Each stop does have a different entry requirement, so make sure you read their posts to find out how to enter!

  8. Loving the stationary! Kids love seeing their names in print, don't they? Technically I don't have a little man, two girls, but I do have a hubby, and could definitely stand to do some more 'masculine' scrapbooking. One can't have everything be pink and purple. As to what they are into these days, the usual girl stuff, although they love their legos and my 5 year old has a new found fascination with Star Wars and Superheroes (she's been hanging around with the boys in her class I think).

  10. What super adorable projects!!! I know my boys would LOVE to have their own personalized stationary :)
My boys are HUGE into Lego...I am constantly stepping on a head or a shield, seeing the newest "creation" in the form of a person, ship or building and about 2 years ago we went through ALL our lego pieces and used them to build the Death Star...yes 3500+ pieces :) It took us about 3 months from start to finish but it was such a GREAT family activity!

  13. Super cute projects. I have one boy, age 7 and he is so into cars. Well that and tow trucks. He loves sword fighting on the wii (when I let him) But loves playing with cars outside in the dirt. He also loves motorcycles and four wheelers too. Playing baseball, riding his bike and doing Karate. He does like playing with legos too. But he is in and out with it in between everything else he is active with.

  23. Wonderful ideas!! Super projects I NOW want to make personalized stationary and I would love a book mark that looked like that as well.. Since I do not have any sons, I can tell you that my Husband is into working with tools and driving his corvette

  24. These are so fantastic! My little man is into Thomas, matchbox cars, and angry bird legos! It's so much fun to play like a kid again!

  25. Your projects are so awesome and unique! I love this hop since the boys seem to often get forgotten or left out. My two "little" men are not so little anymore - they are 16 and 14, and are into marching band and X-Box mostly, (although my youngest still loves his Legos!). But when they were little it was Hot Wheels/Matchbox, Thomas the tank engine, Legos, Playstation, Pokemon, Naruto, Beyblade, Transformers, you name it! I would love to win this prize to use on my boys' pages! (I have a lot of catching up to do!) Thank you! mmoore11@comcast.net
