A Crafter's Dream - Close To My Heart Style

My Merry Messy Life: A Crafter's Dream Giveaway #ACraftersDream

Are your photo's stuck in your computer?  I once heard someone speak about scrapbooking and she said, "Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be jpegs" - lol  I love that!  I have so many photos of my children on my computer that I think "someday I'm going to put them into a scrapbook page or photo book".  If you are anything like me you want to keep reading!  Today I have the perfect giveaway for you.  A beautiful scrapbook kit that will help you get those photos off of your computer and into a photo album.  No more jpeg babies :)

I'm so excited to be able to participate in A Crafter's Dream giveaway
hosted by

This giveaway is a Christmas, crafting, and supporting small business theme! The purpose is to help you with your Christmas shopping and holiday crafting needs!  Each blogger is offering her/his own giveaway worth $25 or more going on now through Sunday, November 4, 2012.

I am so excited to not only be able to participate in this event as an independent consultant with Close To My Heart but also as a Mama who works her business from home.  However, nothing excites me more than being able to promote - and shop - from other small business websites!  What a better time to be supporting our economy, products and businesses made and run in the USA, and meet some new friends along the way than at Christmas!

With Christmas being just around the corner, and the time to start crafting our gifts for friends and family is now! Some of the blogs in the giveaway group will be giving away some awesome crafting supplies! Sometimes we want to give a handmade gift, but just don't have the time or know-how to make them ourselves. This is a great opportunity to support small businesses and shops who offer handmade items! Some of the blogs in our giveaway group will be highlighting such small businesses and offering giveaway items for them, as well. Even if you don't win the giveaway, we hope that you will keep these small businesses in mind when shopping for that perfect gift for your special someone.

My Giveaway:  Pear & Partridge Scrapbook Kit (comes with all the necessary supplies to make two 2-page layouts plus extras for another layout, cards or other paper craft - including embellishments, exclusive stamp set, and papers)

For those of you who want to keep your Christmas memories all in one place or make a scrapbook layout to put into a 12x12 frame to give as a gift to your family you are going to love my giveaway!  Do you know friends or family members who love to scrapbook - give this kit away as a gift for them and check off another person from your list.

There are many other gift options from Close To My Heart for the holiday season
like the Christmas Card kit

or mini albums (example shown above) made using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge!

Lots of options for the creative person on your shopping list :)

  49. The last 2 months of 2007 were crazy - I had one son who had a collapsed lung - we had to get him home from Nebraska where he was in college - I wanted him to have the surgery at home. He came home and had the surgery - and made a complete recovery With in 3 weeks my other son (senior in high school) was in the hospital - he had been having back pain for months - turns out it wasn't a pulled muscle or pinched nerve.....he had a staph infection in the space between two of his vertebrae. He was hospitalized, fortunately it wasn't a MRSA infection, and though it took lots of weeks of antibiotics, he made a complete recovery. He made it home the week before Christmas - we had no tree up, no decorations, the house was a shambles - but who cares?? We were all home and healthy! That definitely stands out as the most memorable Christmas!
