I used the new alcohol markers from Close To My Heart to color in these stamped flower images from the Love Blooms stamp set and I love them! They blend so nicely - I am super pleased! The sentiment is from the Words of Comfort stamp set.
I used the Ruby markers for the flowers and the Olive markers for the leaves - I love how easy it was to blend the colors and create depth in the stamped images!
We were at a wedding a few weeks ago and they had these cute paper hearts cut from book pages to throw instead of rice or blowing bubbles. I reused some of these hearts onto the card.

For all you Mama's out there with kids heading to school for the first time this year; I made this card for you too :) Off to cry into a cup of tea and then pull myself together - I have two other kids I have to care for.
Love the card. I want to learn to color but really have no artistic ability! These markers look tempting.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love them Kathy - so simple to use :) No need for artistic ability when coloring in images. However there is an artist in there somewhere! Don't sell yourself short my friend :)
