SEM July Challenge

Here we are in July and it is time for another challenge over at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.  This month's challenge is called Created Beauty.  Scrap about the things you see around you, everyday, that remind you that God created everything.  That means your photos don't have to be limited by only the things we find in nature, but could include other topics such as the birth of a new baby, and/or abstract feelings like the love shared between two people, all of which are created by God and point toward Him.

Scrap twist: stitch on your layout (faux, by hand, or by machine are all acceptable)

I used Studio J to create a digital layout for this challenge
 Kit: Mischief
Pattern: Dynamic Duo™
Colors: Gray Flannel, Gray Wool and New England Ivy
I love that you can change the color scheme of any paper pack to match your photos - I never would have guessed this was the CTMH Halloween paper pack Mischief did you?

Studio J Tip:  Layer the ribbon tabs found under embellishments to create a pleated look on your page like I did on the left page shown above.  I also added stitching across the whole ribbon.

The photos were from various trips we have taken as a family to New York, North Carolina, Colorado and our own backyard garden.  God's creativity is displayed in so many works of art found in nature all over the world.  I used the song Who Am I as the journaling for this page.

If you are interested in working with digital I highly recommend trying out Studio J.  You can always play around for FREE on my website.  Contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to link up your own project this month over at Scrapping Everyday Miracles for a chance to win a great prize package.
