Cooking with Cricut & Giveaway!

Welcome to another Cooking with Cricut challenge!  Today's challenge - an adult valentine using the color black and a brad!

I made this card

It is hard to see in my photos but I used my art philosophy cartridge to cut out some hearts (darker red) and pop them up with 3D foam tape.

Did you know you can use the cricut to make a template for cards as well?  I cut a larger heart and then traced it with pencil for my tree - using the outline I stamped and layered cut hearts inside the penciled image and then erased the pencil marks!

Don't forget to stop over at Cooking With Cricut to link up your projects!

Speaking of hearts . . .

I'm also co-hosting a giveaway with Jamie over at Hands On As We Grow for our Heart Project to benefit the American Heart Association!

Today we are giving away not one but TWO Trunki's from Melissa & Doug!

Melissa & Doug, one of the leaders in the educational toy industry, have generously donated two Trunki's to be given away in support of the American Heart Association!  It is not required but maybe you'd want to stop by their facebook page and just tell them how much you appreciate their generosity!  My kids love their puzzles and wooden blocks!  I can only imagine their reaction to a piece of luggage that is meant to hold up to 100 pounds of pure child energy!  That is right - you read that right - this luggage is made to be ridden!

Check out this video to see all the great features of a Trunki

Here's a fun one to watch - bloopers - those of us with kids know this will always happen!

With or without the "bloopers" the kids will have a ton of fun and these will make travel time that much less stressful!  I so want to win one of these for myself :)

So here's what you need to do to win one . . .

One way to enter the giveaway is to support "The Heart Project" from now until Valentine's Day. Every $5 donation to AHA will receive a FREE eBook version of The Heart Book.
There are OTHER ways to enter too ... You are not required to donate in order to enter in any of these giveaways. We just want to help bring awareness to the American Heart Association. Enter using the Rafflecopter widget below to see all the ways you can enter the giveaway.

  5. Elizabeth, You are really my inspiration! You have done so awesome with your blog and jumping right in to the blogging world! One of these suitcases would be awesome for me to take to Texas this summer as I will be taking both kids with me all alone! AHA is awesome about getting all that heart healthy information out there so that we can learn and live longer!
