Cooking with Cricut Challenge

Did you know that today is National Cookie Monster Day?  I hope you are aware that this Sunday is Daylight Savings Time and we will be changing our clocks back one hour (which means we gain an hour YAY!).  A quick tip if you always forget (like I used to) about the clocks we "fall back" in the fall and "spring ahead" in the spring :)

Anyway, Cooking with Cricut is celebrating both these events in our challenge this week.  Design something to do with Cookies, Cookie Monster and/or clocks.  I decided to just do clocks.

First I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out a 1 3/4 inch circle.

Then I used that circle as a template to stamp around and make a "clock".  Using the cartridge again I cut out the card shape, a frame to go around my clock and the hands of the clock (which actually move) to make this fun birthday card for a child!  What kid doesn't like a clock?

I hope you will join us in the challenge over at Cooking With Cricut - I can not wait to see what you cook up :)  Thanks for stopping by and as always your comments are read and so very much appreciated!

  1. Great card, Elizabeth. I love the color palette you used -- and you're right, a child would love this card with the moving hands!

  2. Elizabeth, This is just so pretty. I love the soft colors. And a clock is not a clock if the hands do ot move.
