Pumpkins (Make it Monday)

Good Monday Morning!  This week we are playing with pumpkins at our house.  I found this recipe for pumpkin rice Krispie treats here on momontimeout.com  and I put on pinterest (you are welcome to follow me there is you would like).

The kids and I followed the directions exactly with the decorating as the only exception.  I used kit kat's to make the stems and sour apple twizzlers cut up to make the leaves.

You will need: 40 Large Marshmallows, 3 Tbs. Butter, Orange food coloring, 6 Cups of Rice Krispie Cereal and (kit kats, green candy, green icing) stuff for decorating them to look like a pumpkin

My baby girl dropping in the Marshmallows

Stirring things up  . . .

Looking good, once melted add the orange food coloring and cereal
PS. I do not know why my oldest is always shirtless and almost always just in his underwear

We buttered up our hands really good and started forming the mixture into balls.

Next we put the Kit Kat stems on, leaves and green icing vines

"Mmmmmm" so good!  Thanks for stopping by today :)  Have a great week!
