Supplies:
Wire Frame (any size I used 12")

May Creatively Redeeming Treasures Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our team blog hop.  We have a small group this month but I think you will be pleased with the projects and ideas that we have to share with you!  Our theme this month is school related - meaning teacher's end of school year thank you gifts, student gifts, gifts for your kids when school is out :)
I have found so many ideas I want to try with my kids for the end of the school year if the baby and my health will coorporate :)  I haven't had the best of weeks in that regard :(
Anyway, the gift I created is for my boy's teachers.  This is such a simple gift idea I'm almost embarrassed to post it but then I thought maybe someone needs a quick and simple gift to put together.  I got some great waterbottles on Amazon (I loved mine so I bought a few more for gifts) and personalized them using vinyl and my Arbooking Cricut cartridge.  I'll fill the bottles with a few summer and drink related items like sun glasses, sun tan lotion and drink mixes.

These seriously came together in less than 30 minutes so it is so totally doable :)
Next on our hop is my dear friend Helen.

I have created a necklace and card combination for my own Mama using Close To My Heart Base & Bling products and stamps.

The card is simple.  Just stamped flowers onto a 2 x 4 1/4 inch strip of paper and then colored in with water color pencils.  Then I fussy cut around the edges of the flowers.  I stamped the sentiment onto the card base and then using 3D foam tape popped up the flowers on top of and underneath the sentiment.

The necklace is a sticker from one of the sticker sheets and two charms.  I used Liquid Glass to adhere the glass cover to the pendant.  Sometimes with liquid glass you get a bubble and I tried not to but you can see in the photo below that did not work.  However, I really like the way it turned out after a friend pointed out to me that it looks like a shadow of a bird.  I choose these pieces for the necklace based on a favorite song "I'll Fly Away".  There is a line in the song that says "Like a bird from prison bars has flown I'll fly away".

Now it is time to hop on over to Melanie's blog and see what she created!  Happy Mother's Day!  Have a great weekend!!

Here is our complete line up in case you get lost along the way:
