Close To My Heart September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hello and can you believe it is September?  Well almost.  School has already started here for my oldest and we finished our first week of these changes :)  He also turns six today!  Things are changing around here and changing fast - it is hard to keep up with everything!  One of the things I love the best about the fall is change - cooler weather, picking apples and making sauce, carving pumpkins, etc.  My favorite is the changing leaves - I love the colors of fall!

Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - if you are coming from Dawn's blog "I'm A Happy Stamper" (LOVE that blog name!) you are in the right place!  So glad you are here :)

Every month Close To My Heart releases a new stamp set available only for one month.  September's stamp of the month is called Fall Favorites . . .

You can get this stamp set one of two ways:
1.  Purchase it  for $17.95 from September 1st until September 30th
2.  Place a purchase of $50 and get this stamp set for only $5

In addition I offer two other ways you can get this stamp set every month
Host an on-line gathering of $150 or more and get this stamp set FREE
place an order of $100 and get this stamp set FREE
Please contact me (alwaysdeeper at hotmail . com) for the details on how to get this set FREE during the month of September.

Here is my card :)  Simple I know but that is my style - clean and simple.  I really love the look of the tag on this card and might make myself a set of them :)

I paper pieced the leaves then water colored them with our waterbrush and honey & sunset inks.  The pumpkins were first stamped directly onto the tag and then I stamped another of the pumpkin image onto a scrap piece of paper.  I colored in the pumpkins with the Autumn Terracotta markers, cut out just the pumpkins and then popped them up with 3D foam tape onto the tag.

My favorite part of this card is the ribbon.  I love our color ready ribbon - love that I can match it to any color I want :)  I colored the ribbon this time with our new markers using the darker Autumn Terracotta marker and I can not be happier with the results!  I love how easy it was to color the ribbon!

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a great weekend - we'll be celebrating all weekend long with family my little man turning 6 - this is a big deal you know.  Now that he has gone to school for a whole week he knows everything . . . at least more than his Mama knows ;)
Now hop on over to Adeline's blog
and see what beautiful project she created with this sweet stamp set!
   Happy Labor Day,
Elizabeth
