April Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month

Welcome to the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  If you have arrived from Dana's blog you are in the right place.

This month's stamp of the month, Balloon Talk, is available from April 1, 2014 through April 30, 2014.  You can get this stamp set from your CTMH consultant (or on my website) for $17.95 or place a $50 order and get it for $5!

Here is what I created using my Artiste Cricut Cartridge and the Balloon Talk stamp set.

By cutting the 3x4 panel first and then using center point on my Cricut Expression machine I was able to cut the word bubble out of the card panel. Then I stamped the bird from the Hoppy Easter Stamp set, "baby" from the Artiste cartridge and hand drew the wire.  The welcome was stamped directly onto the card base and then the panel was attached with 3D foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!  Your next blog along this month's hop is Kathleen.
Enjoy and happy crafting!

Wild About Washi

If you are a follower of my blog you are well aware that I am in love with the clear stamps from Close To My Heart and truly passionate about scrapbooking and paper crafting!  You also know that I have been a HUGE fan of Washi tape long before CTMH came out with their own.  When they released the 8 different colors and styles of Washi I was over the moon since I am already wild about washi :)

Here is a great video to show you some fun projects using the different tapes with fun patterns like stripes, polka dots, chevron (my favorite), and houndstooth!

Ivy Lane paper pack.  We are so glad you are here!

I am working on creating a few dance scrapbook pages for my daughter's first recital with this paper pack and had a bunch of scraps left over.  Here is one of the cards we will be making in my April card class using some of these scraps.

And another one (this one used a large wooden butterfly covered in scrap paper that is no longer available)

Supplies:
Wooden Shapes
Embroidery Thread

Skylark Box & Card Set

In February's class we created this box & card set using the Skylark Paper Pack and the new
Journal Card Box from Close To My Heart.  This paper pack is one of my favorites in the Catalog and comes with the kit when you join my CTMH craft club/team!  The Box is made to hold the Picture My Life Kit cards but it is just the right size for holding 8 A2 cards and envelopes!

Thanks for stopping by!  For March's craft club we are creating personalized necklaces from the new additions to Close To My Heart's Base and Bling series.

Contact me for details.  Long distance kits are available.
Each necklace is $10 (plus shipping for long distance kits).

DIY Necklaces with Close To My Heart

I am so in love with the new additions to Close To My Heart's Base & Bling collection.  These pieces make it so easy to create stunning personalized necklaces perfect for yourself or a gift.  This month we are creating these (great Mother/Daughter date) on Friday, March 28th and Saturday March, 29th at my house.  These are also available as long distance kits.  Each necklace is $10 and you have the option of two charms, square or round shape, faux antique bronze or silver metals, and a picture from the style sheets shown below.

Contact me for details on the class or long distance kits (shipping additional for the kits and a jewelry glue - I used and recommend Liquid Glass is needed but not included in long distance kits).

Happy Crafting!

Cardmaking with Picture My Life filler cards

Earlier this week I showcased a few cards that I made as gifts using
leftover Picture My Life filler cards.
Each of these kits comes with 144 cards so I did not use all of them in my pages and found these greeting cards came together really quickly!
I created 15 cards in less than an hour using these PML filler cards!

Here are a few more

Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars Team Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Betty's blog you are in the right place.  This is a complete circle hop so you can continue from anywhere in the line.

This month we are featuring new product from Close To My Heart.  I choose to use some leftover cards from the Picture My Life pocket scrapbooking kits to create cards.

With just a few additions and a simple sentiment stamp, these cards came together very quickly!  I have more to show and I'll post them tomorrow.

Happy Hopping.  Now head on over to Joyce's blog and see what she created.
